The "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Promoting Key Works of Rural Revitalization in 2023" clearly proposes to cultivate and develop the prepared vegetable industry. This is the first time that prepared dishes have been included in the Central Document No. 1, which has injected excitement into the development of the industry. Taking advantage of this trend, Liaoning is also actively investing in the new "trillion-yuan" field of pre-made dishes, connecting the value chain of the integration of primary, secondary and tertiary industries.

Huo Bugang, deputy governor of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government, said in his speech that Liaoning will introduce several measures to promote the development of prefabricated food industry in the near future, develop and expand the prefabricated industry in a full-chain, clustered, and differentiated manner, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the food industry, and promote the prefabricated industry. Nowadays, all parts of the country are led and supported by the government and have introduced a series of policies to promote the high-quality development of the prepared vegetable industry. All relevant departments are working together to promote the development of the prepared vegetable industry, laying a good policy environment for the future development of the prepared vegetable industry.

In recent years, Liaoning Province will vigorously develop the prepared vegetable industry. In particular, Shenyang City will vigorously support Shenbei New District, the only national-level agricultural product deep processing demonstration base in the province, to build a prepared vegetable raw material base, e-commerce live broadcast base, and prepared vegetable production and packaging. The prepared vegetable industry agglomeration area that integrates other industrial functions has formed a "seed to chopsticks" and "field to table" industrial integration development model unique to Shenbei.

Hong Yong, associate researcher at the E-commerce Institute of the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute, delivered a keynote speech at the conference titled "The development direction of the national prepared food industrialization under the scenario of rural revitalization and consumption to support agriculture." He said that the digitalization of the prepared food industry needs to be improved. The prepared food industry needs digital improvement in all aspects, not only on the sales side, but also on the supply side and manufacturing side.
